The Voice of Truth Broadcast: Jonah - God's Love for His Lost Children
Pastor Jeff Fletcher  E-mail Jeff
11 days. 9 kids. 9 states. 3000 miles.  Sound like a movie?  Nah, just
another story from the Fletcher family files.  And that's not even the
message...       In today's sermon from the prophet Jonah's life, we
make a closer examination of our own lives.  Are we like Jonah,
running away from God's call?  Or maybe, are we more like the people
in Nineveh?  Lost and undeserving of forgiveness - and yet loved by a
love bigger than our sin...
The Solid Rock
Pastor Mike Montgomery    E-mail Mike
Primary Scripture References: Matthew 7:13-24
At the conclusion of "The Sermon on the Mount," Jesus challenges his
listeners to make a choice.  Through the use of comparison of the true
and false ways, we must make a decision.  Are you applying the truth
in your daily life?  Is your foundation on the "solid rock?"
The Open Bible Pulpit: What This Man Did For Us
Pastor Chuck Jones  Email Chuck
A great gulf existed between God and man.  Blind sinners were unable
to approach the eternal Father.  A "go-between" was needed.  Someone
to lift us up.  And then came the
man Christ Jesus, the great Mediator
between God and sinners.

God's Plan for this Planet
Dr. Alva G. Huffer
The Great Creator has designed our unique planet to be perfectly in
balance to preserve and sustain life.  Bible Christians believe God is
the King of the Universe, infinite in wisdom and power.  From the
structure of the smallest atom to the movement of the stars, God
shows his intelligent purpose and plan for His perfect creation.  And
guess what?  He created
you.  He knows everything about you.  And He
wants
you to know Him.  You're as important in His creation as anything
He's ever made.  And He has a plan and a purpose for your life through
His Son.  Is He in your plans too?
Strength From Above  by William Wachtel
Mark 6:7-13; 30-32
Sometimes, it's easier to think we can do things our way.  Sometimes
we think we even know how to do things a better way than God.  We
may think we are virtuous enough, or good enough, or strong enough
on our own, but nothing we could ever do on our own could ever be
enough to earn eternal life.  But in that still, small voice we find strength.
In standing still, and listening to God, he makes us stronger.  So where
does your strength come from?

Heralding the Restitution
Pastor Wally Winner     E-mail Wally
In this series on the book of Acts, we're examining the church of the
first-century Christians and what we can learn from this dedicated
fellowship of believers today.  Since man's sin in the Garden of Eden,
the earth has been cursed.  Man's life has been shortened by the
power of death.  Man's relationship with God has been separated.  But
through His son Jesus, the earth will be restored.  Death will be
overcome.  And once again, man will be united to live forever with his
Creator in a restored Paradise on this earth.  Are you ready for that day
to come?
Developing a Tough Faith for Tough Times  1Peter 1:1-12
Pastor Steve Taylor
E-mail Steve
When your faith is tested, how do you respond?  Do you run away, or do
you face the storm? Despite injustice, persecution, and death, early
believers continued to spread the message of salvation through Jesus
Christ.   And even through their persecution, their faith and their
numbers grew.  What's
really so tough in our lives?  Are you willing to
give up?  Or will you follow the example of the early disciples, and
endure the storm?
