After the Sunrise Radio Broadcast:  "Let Your Light Shine in the World"
Pastor Darrell Cardwell    E-mail Darrell
North Salem Church of God   Plymouth, Indiana
Have you ever gotten up in the middle of the night and kicked the
bedpost?  Have you ever tripped over a pet or a shoe in the dark?  In
today's program, Pastor Darrell shares from God's word about what it
means to be "the light of the world" and how Jesus should be the light of
our world.
What a Day!
Pastor Dave Hixon    E-mail Dave
Brush Creek Church of God   Tipp City, Ohio
God gives each and every one of us the opportunity to be a part of His
church.  God has chosen you!  Did you ever think about that?  As we look
and unspeakable joy of that day when the Apostle Peter gave one of the
best sermons ever recorded.  Can people see that same joy in us when
we preach the gospel?  In today's text, we find three things we can learn
for the church of today as we reflect on the birth day of the church.
The Sower, the Seed, and the Soils
Pastor Joe Myers    E-mail Joe
Cornerstone Bible Church    McDonough, Georgia
What's the real job of every Christian?  In today's lesson from the
Parable of the Sower, we learn that not everyone is called to water,
fertilize, or harvest the crop.  But
every believer is called to sow good
seed.  Sometimes the seed will fall on bad soil.  Sometimes the
message will never take root.  But we can't be discouraged.  It's up to us
to spread the seed.  It's up to God to bring the increase.  So are
you
ready to start planting?

Truth Matters Radio Broadcast:  The Shema
Host Sean Finnegan with Brian Kelly   E-mail Sean
The Truth Matters radio show on WHAZ (97.3 FM and 1330 AM) airs each
Sunday morning at 9 a.m. and can be heard in the Capital District of New
York State.  Each week covers a different topic with a different guest as
Sean fearlessly explores Bible truth.  In this show, Brian leads us to
consider the two parts to the
Shema. (1) To recognize that Yahweh alone
is our single God and (2) to love this God with everything (holding
nothing back).
Surviving a Marital Shipwreck - Finding Peace After the Storm
Pastor Jeff Fletcher  E-mail Jeff
Bethel Church of God of the Abrahamic Faith, Pelzer, South Carolina
One of the most agonizing decisions is when you have to make the
choice to let go of someone you love.  And few things are worse and
more painful than being rejected by someone you love.  But God wants
us to have "shalom" in our lives.  He wants us to have wholeness and
healing.  God can take a broken relationship and bring "shalom."

Of First Importance
Pastor Mike Montgomery    E-mail Mike
Guthrie Grove Church of God of the Abrahamic Faith
Pelzer, South Carolina
Even from the beginning of his life, Jesus was already being prepared
for his suffering.  He had to die for
our sins, not his.  But the good news
isn't just that Jesus died.  He rose to eternal life, which has guaranteed
believers that we too will be resurrected to immortality.

Climbing Jacob's Ladder
E. Milon Hall    2-27-1966
When we think of ladders, we think of climbing.  We all aspire to higher
heights.  But sometimes we seek the right thing in the wrong way.  Jacob
got there by deception and dishonesty.  God had to humble him before he
could exalt him.  God often still works in the same way.  Sometimes he
has to cripple us before he can crown us.  Once we quit fighting and yield
to God, then God can make us great.  The way to greatness is to follow
the example of Jesus.  To get higher, we must serve others.

The Bible Truth Radio Broadcast: "What Does the Bible Teach About
Hell? - Part One"
Z.B. Duncan
 12-2-1984
Did you know there are 4 different words translated as "hell" in our
Bible?  Why did Bible translators not translate it the same way each
time?  What happens there?  Where is it?  What goes down there?  Is
there conscious suffering in flames of fire?  What does conventional
theology teach? What does the Bible really teach about "hell?"  The
answers may surprise you.

Armageddon
Dick Worley    6-30-1974
We live in an age where every nation around the world seems to be
preparing for war.  We've probably all heard something about "the battle
of Armageddon."  But do you know where that comes from?  Do you
know where Armageddon is located?    Jesus spoke of this decisive
battlefield, and he warns us to be expecting what's coming. Can
Christians escape?  Are you ready? There's still time...

The Open Bible Pulpit: Assignment and Test
Pastor Chuck Jones  E-mail Chuck    Visit Chuck's blog
Church of the Open Bible Pomona, California
The mark of a good teacher is when he has taught the students to
know what he knows.  A good teacher (1) gives assignments and (2)
tests that knowledge and ability.  Jesus did the same with his apostles
when he sent them out on their own and still does the same for us.  He
sends us out too.  He gave them and gives us power.  Is it too hard to
believe that Jesus has given us the same power and authority?  Did
we lose that power?  Is it too spooky or not scientific enough?  It's still
here today.  Have you asked for it?  Are you seeking it?  Is there
anything too hard for God?

You Can't Compare Today with Tomorrow
Pastor Rex Cain    E-mail Rex
Church of the Open Bible  Bedford, Ohio
Do you ever think about your own mortality?  Do you wonder where the
years have gone?  No matter how many herbal teas we drink or
vitamins we take or how much exercise we do, we're reminded how
mortal we really are.  But this life isn't it.  We have every reason to
rejoice.  Jesus is coming soon.  The things we have now are here
today and gone tomorrow, but God is renewing us each day as we look
forward for that immortal life that's coming.

teaches about the Holy Spirit, we look at "baptism of the Holy Spirit."
What was the baptism in Holy Spirit?   Why was it given?  Was it the
only baptism administered?  Are people now promised Holy Spirit
baptism?  What about water baptism?  Find out these answers today.
