Spiritual Aerobics
Bobby Lee Partain
What did Bobby Lee learn after participating in some athletics at a
business family day?  Well, a little about how his muscles don't work
exactly like they used to, and a lot more about how sometimes our
spiritual work-outs aren't always what they should be too.  Are you
working out your Bible with some reading?  Are you stretching your
spiritual muscles?  Are you exercising your faith?
A Man as Good as His Word
Pastor Jim Shaull
Do you remember that time in our history when a "man's word was his
bond?"  Do you remember when a man was only "as good as his word?"
In today's lesson, Pastor Jim poses the question:  Are you determined to
do and say only what God would have us do and say?
Numbers 22-24; Genesis 27:30-37

Godly Parenting
Pastor Eugene Stilson
Until righteousness is established over the earth at the return of Jesus, it
is up to us to examine ourselves and our lives and our families.  In this
radio program, Pastor Stilson guides us with a message on godly
parenting from the book of Proverbs, with references to Abraham and the
nation of Israel.
The Hastening of the Lord
Harry Goekler
General Conference, 1953
Evangelism and Missionary Day
Zephaniah 1:14,15
As man was advancing in science and technology in the early 1950's,
Brother Goekler was focusing on the prophetic events being fulfilled.  He
reminds us we are nearing the end of man's rule on the earth and the
beginning of the establishment of the Kingdom of God.  As the passage
from Zephaniah reads, "the great day of the Lord is near!"  Are you
prepared for the imminent return of the Lord?
How a Church Grows
Bud Goodwin
Acts 1:1-8
Our church growth plans will fail unless we find the most successful
secret to growing our church.  The real way of building a church involves
tapping into God's power, not our own.  What lessons can we learn from
the earliest followers of Christ, the founders of the Church of God, and
their example from the book of Acts?
Standing Together
Brother William Dick
In this Conference message, the first Vice-President of the Berean
Society of the Church of God and Youth Evangelist, Bill Dick, emphasizes
the importance of guiding and encouraging our church youth.  Are you
passing along the faith to next generation?
The Open Bible Pulpit:  Hosea - A Prophecy for Today
Pastor Chuck Jones  E-mail Chuck
In this newest series by Pastor Chuck, we're examining the prophecy
from the book of Hosea (753 - 722 B.C).  The prophecy was not just for
Israel's future, it's relevant for our learning today.  In today's message,
we learn how to take precautions to avoid sin.  Are there "idols" in your
life?  Who or what is your "god?"  How do we keep from drifting away?
Hosea; 1 Cornithians 10:11; Revelation 2, 3
The Heart of Wisdom
Frank Toth   E-mail Frank
There's a lot of wisdom in this age today.  As Frank shares some of
the world's wisdom, we find something's missing at the center of
man's advice.  Something's missing at the center of worldly living.
What does the Bible's Proverbs have to say about  most practical way
to be prepared and equipped in our daily living?  Is it how much we
know? Or maybe
who we know?

Hebrews 11 Series #13: The Discipline of God
Pastor Terry M. Ferrell   E-mail Terry
Do you remember a time you did something wrong, and you were
punished for it?  You probably didn't like it.  Looking back though, you
realize it was for your own good.  Sometimes our Heavenly Father
corrects his children too.  We may not always like it, but God knows
what's best.  In this concluding message from the Hebrews Chapter
11 series,  Pastor T.M. Ferrell guides us into this scripture study on the
"great cloud of witnesses" and true faith. What have you learned?
What is God teaching you about your faith?
Scripture lesson: Hebrews 12:5-11
A Question of Identity
Pastor Viv Kirkpatrick    E-mail Vivian

life's hardest questions.  So who are you?  What are you doing here?
Why were you created?  Find out what God has to say about your life.

A Tough Times Survival Guide  1Peter 2:1-12
Pastor Steve Taylor
E-mail Steve
Every night we hear about the "unprecedented financial crisis" or that
we are "days away from a worldwide economic meltdown."  Is there a
giant economic tsunami wave heading towards us?  Are we facing
economic ruin?  Maybe.  We just don't know.  But one thing is certain:
tough times demand a tough faith.  In this series from the first letter of
Peter, we're studying how to not only survive, but
thrive, in the hardest
times.  Is your faith securely anchored?  Is your hope secure?  Will you
survive the storms of life?
What God Thinks of a Lie
Pastor Wally Winner     E-mail Wally
In this series on the book of Acts, we're examining the church of the
first-century Christians and what we can learn from this dedicated
fellowship of believers today.  In the fifth chapter and the story of
Ananias and Sapphira, we found out what God thinks of a lie.  He has
no use for hypocrites.  Let's make sure that when we say "Jesus is
Lord of my life," that He is!  When we testify that "Christ means more to
me than anyone else in all the world," that He does.  That when we
sing "I surrender all," we do.  When we say,"take my silver and my
gold; not a mite would I withhold," we give.  The scripture says all liars
will be excluded from the Kingdom of God.  Let's be honest with God
and others.
Patience
Pastor Dave Hixon    E-mail Dave
James 5:7-11 Do you ever have any trouble with patience?  Do you ever
lose your patience?  Before Jesus ascended, he told his disciples he
would soon return.  Are you tired of waiting?  Are you anticipating his
soon return to this earth?  What is the reward of being patient?
After the Sunrise Radio Broadcast:  If God Loves Us
Pastor Darrell Cardwell    E-mail Darrell
Candy, flowers, a card, perfume...On special days of love, how do we
remember our "sweethearts?"  What are some other ways we show
our love?  How do we show God our love?  How do we show others
God's love?  What did Jesus say were the most important
commandments?  And, above all, how much more does God love us?
