The Risen Christ
Tony Dart    E-mail Tony
Church of God, Faith of Abraham   Cashmere, Washington
Did Christ know he would die?  Was his sacrifice a prophesied part of
God's plan?  What does his predicted death and resurrection have to do
with ours?  Luke 9:22; Acts 5:29-32; 2:22-32; 10:36-41; 1 Corinthians

Because He Died
Pastor Terry M. Ferrell   E-mail Terry
Greenville Church of God, 217 White Oak Road, Greenville, SC 29605
On Resurrection Sunday, we emphasize the blessings that come to us
because Jesus lives, but today, we look at the blessings that came
because he died.  By one man, all of mankind was sold into sin and
bondage.  And death came by sin.  We all deserved to die, but Jesus chose
to die to purchase our freedom with his blood.
1 Corinthians 1:18-24
Resurrection
Loie Jones
Christianity is often referred to as the religion of the empty tomb?  But why
do we believe in the resurrection from the dead?  Why is that important?
How does believing in the resurrection from the dead change how you're
living today?  Is thereenough evidence to believe?  Is it what the Bible
teaches? Are you ready for those graves to open when Jesus returns?
When I See the Blood, I Will Pass Over
Pastor Rex Cain    E-mail Rex
Church of the Open Bible  Bedford, Ohio
As the Israelites were preparing for their exodus from Egypt, God directed
them in how to avoid the final plague.  By spreading the sacrificial blood on
their door posts, they would be passed over from the coming punishment.
In the same way, the Lamb of God has sacrificed himself and given his
blood so that we can avoid sin's final punishment.
Exodus 12
By Way of the Cross
Pastor Wally Winner     E-mail Wally
Joy Fellowship Church of God of the Abrahamic Faith
In today's message, we learn three important lessons by the way of the
cross on a day almost 2000 years ago.  Jesus couldn't carry his own cross.
He couldn't save himself.  And Jesus experienced separation from his
Father.  Why?  He did it all for you...

Jesus walked out of his grave.  He's really alive!  The first to find out ran to
tell the good news!  The best news that was ever heard came out of a
graveyard near Jerusalem.  God's brightest promise came in the world's
darkest hour.  And we get to be a part of the same promise and share the
same news to our world.  Are you ready to act?

"Why Do You Look for the Living Among the Dead?"
Pastor Darrell Cardwell    E-mail Darrell
North Salem Church of God   Plymouth, Indiana
When the women came to the tomb where Jesus had been buried very
early on the first day of the week, they were surprised what they found.
Actually, they were surprised what they didn't find.  Jesus was gone.  Where
did they take his body?  What happened?  I think you might know how the
story continues...
Our Passover Lamb
Pastor Mike Montgomery
Guthrie Grove Church of God of the Abrahamic Faith
The Israelites were slaves and in bondage in Egypt.  But God provided
deliverance through Moses.  In the same way, we all were slaves to sin.
But God provided deliverance through his unblemished son so we can be
a living sacrifice today.
1 Corinthians 5:7,8; Exodus 12:1-28, 46; Romans 3:23-25; 5:9-11
What Will You Give?
Pastor Dave Hixon    E-mail Dave
Brush Creek Church of God   Tipp City, Ohio
Imagine yourself on a chilly, November day at the Macy's Thanksgiving Day
Parade.  You'll see floats, balloons, bands, cheerleaders, and performers.
Traditionally, parades honor a special person or event.  But this time of
year, we always hear the same story.  Maybe it's time to take a fresh look at
some of the people in the crowd during Jesus' triumphant entry. Are there
certain things we giving Jesus without thinking?  Are there some things we
don't want to think about giving?  What's on your list?    Luke 19

When Darkness Comes Over the Land
Pastor Jeff Fletcher  E-mail Jeff
Bethel Church of God of the Abrahamic Faith, Pelzer, South Carolina
Do you believe the future can accurately be predicted before it
happens?  700 years before Christ, a farmer predicted the time of
darkness that came on the day of Christ's crucifixion.  This is a fact
confirmed - and unexplained otherwise - by history.  What can we
learn from the darkness? What message was God sending us?  And
what darkness are you experiencing in your life?  There is none in
which Jesus can not bring the light.

Hope in Christ Today
Pastor Michael Cisler    E-mail Mike
North Kent Bible Church   Rockford, Michigan
Would you sit through a sermon if you knew you'd get a
chocolate-chip cookie at the end? (Well today, you can).  In today's
message, Pastor Michael reminds us again that God always keeps
His promises.  They are certain.  Our future is guaranteed.  But we
don't get everything now.  We get a piece of what God has prepared
for us.  And the hope we have is our source of encouragement and
strength to stand firm, even when everything around us  is changing.

Atonement    1978
James Mattison
We're all under the death penalty because of sin.  The only way we
can be worthy is to be accounted worthy.  We can't earn our salvation,
and we don't deserve to be cleared from our guilt.  But we have one
escape.  We can accept the righteousness of the man who chose to
pay the price for our sin.

What Would You Have Done?
E. Richard Smith
Have you ever thought about how you would have responded if you
were there in the final days of the ministry of Jesus?  As he
approached his death, he was nearly alone.  The very people who
needed him the most wanted him dead.  The very people who had
prayed for his coming rejected his coming.  Didn't those surrounding
Jesus know what they were doing?  Why didn't they understand?  Why
didn't they act differently...but would we behave any differently today?
The Resurrection  12/2/1972
Z.B. Duncan
Death is an enemy, but there
is life beyond the power of the grave.
Christ has overcome the grave, and at his coming, all in their graves
will hear his voice.  The dead
will live again.  Jesus is coming back,
and he's coming soon!  Will you be among those waiting at his
coming?   1 Corinthians 15:12,22,26,35; Psalm 89:48; John 5:28;
