Looking For a Home
Pastor Tom New    E-mail Tom
McGintytown Church of God   Greenbrier, Arkansas
As believers in Christ, we are all strangers in a foreign land.  Like
Abraham, we walk in faith looking for a new home.  We are looking for
something better.  We are looking for a new land.  And we are heirs of the
same promise.  We are promised an inheritance in the Kingdom of God at
the return of Jesus.  Think of the excitement as we sit down with the great
patriarchs at that banquet table.  Imagine the thrill when we are reunited
with our loved ones on that resurrection day.  Are you ready for that coming
day?     2 Peter 3:10-14; Hebrews 11:8-19; 39,40; Acts 1:10,11; 2:29,36;
3:19-21; 7:2-5; Romans 8; Galatians 3:6-9, 26-29;

New Year Commitment  Psalm 37:5,6
Pastor Michael Cisler
E-mail Mike
North Kent Bible Church   Rockford, Michigan
Did you ever notice how easy it is to break a New Year's resolution?
Maybe you've already broken your new commitments. With the change of
the year, though, it does give us an opportunity to consider our lives and
our hearts and evaluate where we are in life.  It's a good time to consider
where we are in relation to the plans and goals in our relationship to God.
Is God directing you?  Are you committed to His plans?
What is God Doing?  Where is God Leading?  Proverbs 29:18
Pastor Jeff Fletcher
E-mail Jeff
Bethel Church of God of the Abrahamic Faith, Pelzer, South Carolina
Have you ever imagined what it might be like to blind?  How would your
life be different if you were not able to see?  If you can't see where you're
going, then you may not know where you are or where you're headed.  In
your life, are you trusting God to guide you?  Are you allowing God to lead
you?  Are you seeing His vision for you?
Our Heritage, Our Future
Oregon Bible College had a tradition of training and developing disciples
to be servants for the Lord.  In this
OBC Pep Talk, we hear how are
heritage builds our future.

Preach the Word
Brother Darrell Rankin
Man has changed, but God's word has never altered.  His word is still
today for our guidance, correction, edification, and perfection.  Are you
guided by our Father's message?
Titus Chapter 2
The Highest Calling to Christ
Pastor E. Milon Hall
Camp Mack, August 1, 1965
A calling is an invitation.  We are all invited by our Lord Jesus Christ into a
fellowship like this world can never present.  It's a personal invitation to
each and every one of us, the greatest promise we can ever know.  How
will you respond?
The Voice of Tomorrow Broadcast with Pastor Dale Swartz
A broadcast ministry of Kingdom Ministries, Inc (Litchfield, Minnesota).
Kingdom Ministries is a completely faith-based ministry created to simply
and clearly proclaim the message of the Kingdom of God and to share
God's love in a practical way.  After God's creation, he saw that it wasn't
good for man to be alone.  So God made him a helper from man himself.
In this new partner, we see God's plan for marriage.  A man and a
woman side by side for life, completing and complementing one another.
 Genesis 2,3; Matthew 19

The Open Bible Pulpit:  Hosea - Chapter 12 - Counterfeit Hope
Pastor Chuck Jones  E-mail Chuck    Visit Chuck's blog
Church of the Open Bible Pomona, California
In this series by Pastor Chuck, we're examining the prophecy from the
book of Hosea (753 - 722 B.C).  The prophecy was not just for Israel's
future, it's relevant for our learning today.  In today's message,  we
examine the nature of our hope.  "Counterfeit hope" is based on man's
limits, but God's hope is far greater.  God saves the best for last.  So
where do you put your hope?  Are you being robbed by what this world
tells you?
Hosea 12; 1 Corinthians 2; Hebrews 10:31
To Be Happy in Hard Times
Pastor Larry Mayberry    E-mail Larry
Pennellwood Church of God   Wyoming, Michigan
We all know that in our lives hard times will always come.  But when
they come, how will you handle it?  Sometimes God allows the trials
and tribulations in our lives to make us stronger, to depend on Him
more and less on ourselves.  But we can always rejoice in the
promise we have.  Will you find real joy and happiness?
1 Peter 1:3-7; 2 Corinthians 4:17
Daniel Series #3:  Overview of the Image
Pastor Terry M. Ferrell   E-mail Terry
Greenville Church of God, 217 White Oak Road, Greenville, SC 29605
In this continuing study on the book of Daniel, we examine
Nebuchadnezzar's image in Daniel Chapter Two.  What did the actual
image look like?  What can we learn from the description and
interpretation?  What empires are represented?  Why is it important to
understand?

The Truth of John 1
Tony Dart    E-mail Tony
Church of God, Faith of Abraham    Cashmere, Washington
The earth was framed by the word of God.  Man was formed by the
word of God.  And what God has said, he has done.  In his word is
power.  In his word is life.

Why the Truth About the Future Matters
Pastor Steve Taylor   E-mail Steve
Lakeshore Bible Church  Tempe, Arizona
More and more people want to know what's coming ahead.  They want
to know about the future.  It's up to us to declare the truth about what
the Scripture tells us about prophecy and future events.  Jesus
is
coming, and it's our mission to prepare the curious world.
Is That Old-Time Religion Sufficient for Today?
Pastor Wally Winner     E-mail Wally     Acts 17
Joy Fellowship Church of God of the Abrahamic Faith
In this series on the book of Acts, we're examining the church of the
first-century Christians and what we can learn from this dedicated
fellowship of believers today. Paul was confronted with polytheism
when he stood on Mars Hill in Athens and taught about the Unknown
God.  It was from this pagan culture that many falsehoods about God
developed.  Christ died believing the same promises as all of us: that
He would be resurrected by his Father to immortality.  We live and die
with the same hope.  This is the "Old Time Religion".  This is the
religion of the Apostles and disciples of the early church.
Isaiah's Worship
Brother Mark DeYoung    E-mail Mark
Everything in our lives should be an extension of our worship.  What we
do, the things we say, the places we go all should be in a way that can
bring glory to God.  God asked the prophet Isaiah, "Whom shall I send?"
His reply should be the same as ours.  "Here I am Lord.  Send me."  It's
time to go and tell the world about our great God.
The Last Words of Jesus, Part One
Pastor Dave Hixon    E-mail Dave
Brush Creek Church of God   Tipp City, Ohio
As Jesus was on the cross dying, he felt a separation from God he
had never felt before.  Imagine the pain and the suffering as Jesus
took on the sins of the entire world.  His sacrifice paid the penalty.  It
was a high cost to purchase us.  Before he died, what was on his
mind?  What was Jesus thinking?  As we look at his final words, we
understand his thoughts.
Matthew 27:46; Mark 13:32; 1 Peter 1:18, 19; Psalm 22:1,21-24;

What Are You Trying to Change?
Pastor Neal Bryant    E-mail Neal
Abundant Life Community Church  Rockford, Illinois
There's a lot of talk about changing this and changing that.  One
person can change the world.  It's true.  But first, it must start with you
changing yourself.  And you must start by putting God first.  So how do
we start?  Love God, and love people.  When that's how we start, then
everyone can have an impact.
Matthew 6:14; Matthew 7:13, 14, 28
Overcoming Fear Through Faith
Pastor Mike Montgomery    E-mail Mike
Guthrie Grove Church of God of the Abrahamic Faith
Pelzer, South Carolina
Matthew 14
We all have our fears, but how do we overcome fear and doubt?  What
causes us to be afraid?  If we truly trust in God, why do we focus only
the "wind and the waves" in our life?  Storms will always come, but
we're never alone if we fix our eyes on Jesus.
