Today's Programming Guide Sunday, August 17th, 2008 BACK TO THE FUTURE - Beginning at 8 a.m. Eastern
Today's programming is the seventh edition of "Back to the Future," our Sunday broadcasts featuring music and messages recorded throughout the history of the Church of God. Most of these broadcasts will contain material that has not been heard for many decades. So join us as we take a walk down memory lane and listen to the past re-lived, with messages and music still living and relevant today, and focused on the future age to come! We hope you will enjoy the step back in time.
What Do They See? John Denchfield With a warm greeting from the Lighthouse Mission in Nova Scotia, Canada, John reminds us that we are ambassadors for God in this world, and that the world is closely watching us. With the story of Elijah, we are asked: What do they see?
Stand Therefore: The Responsibility of Parents Children's evangelist Verna Thayer Travelling around the country holding Bible schools year after year has given "Auntie" a few insights on modeling Christ to our children. A message that encourages us all to be a biblical example.
The Maranatha Singers in Concert Before there were OBC Chorales, there was The Maranatha Singers (pictured above). This talented group of Bible College students brings us the message of the coming return of Jesus through music. Along the way, we hear about OBC, and a message on not waiting until it's too late. So sit back in your pew, and enjoy the touring concert. (Can you name all the members of the group? Clue: Listen closely.)
