Today's programming is the thirtieth edition of "Back to the Future,"
our Sunday broadcasts featuring messages recorded throughout the history
of the Church of God.  Many of these speakers and messages have not been
heard for many decades.  Some of these messages have never publicly been
heard again at all.  You may find yourself amazed at how relevant these
words still are for us living today.  We hope you enjoy our step back in
time, with messages focusing on the age to come.

If you enjoy the messages
you hear daily on
COGCAST, you may also
be interested in some of
these books, literature, and
other media available.

Plow a Straight Furrow
Pastor S.O. Ross
When a farmer is plowing, the worst thing you can do is to keep looking
back while you're still trying to go forward.  The next thing you know,
you've made a crooked path.  In the same way, as followers of Christ, we
must keep our eyes focused, looking ahead.  We can't detour.  We must
plow a straight furrow, always looking forward to the goal set before us.

Is There a Life Before Dying?
Pastor E. Richard Smith
If you want a good life now, you won't find it in the things of this
world.  But if you base your life on God's promises, and in His son, and
on the better things to come, then you'll being living a fulfilled life
today.  When you're tired and weary, turn to God.  So do you
really want
to start living today?

God's Purpose in the Bible
Pastor C.E. Lapp 7-14-1974
What is the best selling but the least read book?  At least, that's how
the saying goes.  In today's study, we examine the Bible and its
purpose.  To understand the purpose, we need to know the author. And we
all know the Author.  The Bible is not just a historical, scientific,
philosophical, or literary work.  But it's all in there.  God selected
holy men to write His word, and in His word, we find our purpose as
instructed by faith and in God.  The Bible truly is the comprehensive
equipment for a man of God.
2 Timothy 3:16; 1 Peter 3:21
