As the Apostle Paul writes Timothy, he gives him certain action commands.  Paul sums up
his instructions with imperatives like " flee, fight, keep, guard, take hold of."  In his charge, we
find the contrast between being a man of this world and what it means to be a man of God.

Do you ever find yourself making excuses of why you can't serve God?  Do you feel like God
should be picking someone more important to be doing his work?  Or maybe do you feel like
God has forgotten you?  In the story of Gideon, we find an unexpected leader chosen by
God.  Did he believe it? Not at first.  Will you?
