Sin is an easy place to get to but a hard place to escape.  No one plans to go there permanently, but many never
leave.  In the Bible, Egypt pictures sin.  And like the Hebrew people, we are prisoners.  Are you sick of the
oppression?  We have only one hope - that a deliver will come.

Most of our lives God is silent.  We wish He was just give us a "word" from Him or a sign or something to
directly communicate with us.  But even when God spoke to Abraham, there were still many years filled with
silence.  It was up to Abraham to walk in faith while he waited.  Maybe God has spoken to you.  Are you listening?

God created the world and offers man a chance to repent and escape judgement and obtain eternal life on the
earth through his Son when Jesus returns.  That's the basic message Paul preached to an absolutely pagan,
idolatrous audience in his sermon on Mars Hill  It's the same gospel message Jesus and his disciples
preached and taught.  But why has the world rejected such a simple and basic message of salvation?
