A new year is a good time to reflect.  Have you ever thought about why we're even here?  What's our purpose?  
Why did God make us?  In today's message, we continue our look at the five New Testament purposes of the
church with an examination of what it means to be involved in "ministry."
Yahweh of Hosts

The phrase "Yahweh of Hosts" is used in the Old Testament about 230 times, revealing yet another aspect of
this great and powerful God we worship.  As we look at the one in charge of the armies of the heavens and the
earth, we realize, like David and Joshua, that the battle is Yahweh's.

In the last chapter of Joshua, we have one of the most memorable passages in the Bible.  Joshua was over 100
years old as he spoke to the children of Israel about serving the Lord.  We have the same choice today.
