The United States leads the world in fatherless homes.  The statistics are distressing.  It's
not always easy being a parent.  Parenting is a time-consuming, energy-draining,
challenging, 24/7 profession.  And you never stop being a parent no matter how old your
children get.  Every parent desires for their children to admire and respect them and wants
their affection.  In today's message, we look at the life of Joseph, a father personally chosen
by God to raise Jesus.  As we examine the text, we find a righteous role model who followed
God's leading and obeyed God's direction.  He lived out the life of faith that Jesus would
witness each day.  And we're reminded that our faithfulness is always being watched too.
