Life has many unpleasant and difficult tasks.  There's a lot that we say we can't do or we don't want to do when
we'd rather just be comfortable.  The Israelites often had the same attitude.  When they faced difficulties after
escaping from Egypt, they were ready to turn back - even when God had promised them they could not fail.  But

“Thou shalt not commit adultery.”  It's the 7th of the 10 Commandments.  Just as the physical union within
marriage seals the covenant of marriage, so a union outside of your marriage with anyone else is what breaks the
covenant.  This is the crux of the 7th command as we examine its spiritual significance in today's message.
