One of God’s most beautiful gifts to mankind is the gift of language, the ability to speak.  But as is true with every
good gift God has given to man, sin has found a way to abuse it and misuse it. The name of the Lord is sacred.  
It’s a holy name.  In today's message, we examine the third commandment and what it means for us today.

Jesus often chose to speak to the crowds in stories and parables.  Following the parable of the dragnet, he asks
his disciples if they understand.  He was teaching to make the hidden secrets of the kingdom visible for us to see.
 That was the purpose.  Were they getting it?  Are we getting it?  Are we seeing the kingdom revealed in our
everyday things?

You Can't Compare Today with Tomorrow

Do you ever think about your own mortality?  Do you wonder where the years have gone?  No matter how many
herbal teas we drink or vitamins we take or how much exercise we do, we're reminded how mortal we really are.  
But this life isn't it.  We have every reason to rejoice.  Jesus is coming soon.  The things we have now are here
today and gone tomorrow, but God is renewing us each day as we look forward for that immortal life that's coming.
