Jesus got the red-carpet treatment when he rode in to Jerusalem the week before his death.  But that wasn't how
the story would end.  He still had work to do.  And it's a message that still speaks to all of us today.

The punishment and treatment that Jesus experienced leading up to his crucifixion wasn't pretty.  In fact, it was
extremely graphic.  He was mocked.  He was beaten.  He wasn't given the royal treatment he deserved.  But
through the humiliation and the physical abuse, he kept his heart focused on the will and the purpose of his
Father.  He even loved those who were treating him so terribly.  He endured until the end for you and for me.
