And no matter whether it's a professional or a college game, it doesn't take long before a close play has to be reviewed. The first look sometimes makes a play appear to be called a certain way, but when the referees examine the play from all of the different angles, sometimes a ruling on the field is overturned. It can be that way with Bible texts as well. Sometimes we think we see something a certain way until we go back and look from all of the different angles. In today's message, we take a look at two difficult texts often used to "prove" that Jesus was claiming to be God. But is that really what we see when we "review the play?" |
