When Jesus came, he was not all that the people had hoped and expected.  As he made his
"triumphal entry" into Jerusalem, he already knew the acclaim he was receiving would soon
turn into shouts of rejection.  The very people he was sent to save would be the very ones
who would decide to turn their backs on him.  We have the same choice.  Will you accept
Jesus, the Son of David, the Son of Man, the Son of God?

God has drawn a line in the sand.  You can't straddle the line.  You have to make a decision
to step over the line or not.  There's no in-between.  God wants you to have eternal life in
the age to come.  But the dividing line is whether you have the son or not.  You're either on
one side of the line or the other.  You have to make a choice.  Will you step over the line?

What consumes you in your life?  What do you spend your time thinking about?  Are you
thinking on eternal things?  Sometimes we let our narrow, limited view of God shape Him into
something He's not - and then we start to doubt.  We see God as what we want Him to be
and not who He is.  But when He doesn't give us what we want, He always gives us what we
need to make it through.
