How Great is Our God
Pastor Jack Hearp

the Bible are the unique words of the one true God, who has individually created each person, and values
us enough to offer a way of salvation through his perfect Son.
Glorifying God's Name
Pastor Mike Montgomery
Are you taking the time to truly honor the God who created each star "one by one?"  A glimpse at why and

The Open Bible Pulpit: What This Man Did For Us
Pastor Chuck Jones  Email Chuck
A great gulf existed between God and man.  Blind sinners were unable to approach the eternal Father.  A
"go-between" was needed.  Someone to lift us up.  And then came the
man Christ Jesus, the great Mediator
between God and sinners.

Christ Who is the Beginning!
Z.B. Duncan
Revival Services at Brush Creek Church of God - November 30, 1972
Where does your faith begin?  Is it in this world?  Is it in man?  Is it in yourself?  Or is your hope anchored in
something greater?  How does knowing who Jesus is affect how you live?  How does knowing his willing
sacrifice for you affect what you're willing to sacrifice for him?
Double Take: Answer to the Loaded Question
Pastor Russ Magaw   July 8, 1973
Luke 22:66-71
Have you asked yourself who Jesus really is? Are you prepared for the answer? Does it make a difference
in you?
Being Human
Robin Todd    E-mail Robin    Visit Robin's website
Who is Jesus?  Why does who he is matter?  Is knowing the truth important to understanding the gospel
message of the kingdom?  Is being human good enough?  Do you have what it takes?  Robin thoroughly
answers these questions in today's study.
The Plan of God: Jesus, Part One
Pastor Dave Hixon    E-mail Dave
Brush Creek Church of God   Tipp City, Ohio
Who was Jesus of Nazareth? Where did he come from?  Who was he?  What is his true identity?  How does
God's plan relate to Jesus?  Was he just a teacher, a wise man, or a Jewish scholar?  Or is there more too
it than that?  Pastor Dave guides us in the first message of two explaining and understanding one of the
greatest, most controversial, and most crucial topics in all of Christianity.
1 Corinthians 2:8; John 1:1-5,21;19:7; Galatians 3; Micah 5:2; Isaiah 7:14; Acts 3:20
It turns out the local religious groups heard Pastor Duncan was coming to town and decided to run
alternative programming during the revival meetings countering his messages.  But even that wouldn't
discourage Z.B. from contending for the truth and defending God's word.  Today he shares more truths
about this great God we worship.

Jesus The Messiah
Pastor Terry M. Ferrell   E-mail Terry
Greenville Church of God, 217 White Oak Road, Greenville, SC 29605
Scripture Lesson:  John 4:1-26
Who is Jesus really?  Who is this promised king?  How important is it to understand who Jesus really is
and the significance of being the foretold Messiah?  How does understanding who Jesus is affect your life?
Jesus tells us in his own words.
"Logos"-λόγος
Pastor Jim Rankin
Church of God, Faith of Abraham    Cashmere, Washington
Often in our Bible study it's important to fully study out the meaning and interpretation of a passage to better
understand the writer's intention.  And, of course, English Bibles are a translation, not the original text.
When we examine the original languages, we might be surprised to learn how one little "word" could be
translated so many ways.
The Truth of John 1
Tony Dart    E-mail Tony
Church of God, Faith of Abraham    Cashmere, Washington
The earth was framed by the word of God.  Man was formed by the word of God.  And what God has said,
he has done.  In his word is power.  In his word is life.
John 1:1-5; Hebrews 11:3; 2 Peter 3:1-9; Revelation 19:11-16; Psalm 110:1-7;
John 12:44-50; Romans 1:16; Matthew 22:23-32; John 5:18-29
Is That Old-Time Religion Sufficient for Today?
Pastor Wally Winner     E-mail Wally     Acts 17
Joy Fellowship Church of God of the Abrahamic Faith  Piedmont, South Carolina
In this series on the book of Acts, we're examining the church of the first-century Christians and what we
can learn from this dedicated fellowship of believers today. Paul was confronted with polytheism when he
stood on Mars Hill in Athens and taught about the Unknown God.  It was from this pagan culture that many
falsehoods about God developed.  Christ died believing the same promises as all of us: that He would be
resurrected by his Father to immortality.  We live and die with the same hope.  This is the "Old Time
Religion".  This is the religion of the Apostles and disciples of the early church.
One God
There's no more fundamental truth than understanding exactly who is this God we worship.  How can we
worship a God we don't know?  But why has so much of the world corrupted this simple truth?

Who Do YOU Say That I Am?
Pastor Scott Ross    E-mail Scott
Jaynes Street Community Church of God  Omaha, Nebraska
Who do people say Jesus is?  There are lots of opinions.  But more personally, who do you say Jesus is?
Jesus asked his disciples the same question.  And the Apostle Peter gave the right answer.  It should be
the same answer for us today.  Jesus was no ordinary man.  He was "the Christ, the son of the living God."
How will that fact change your life?
Matthew 6:13-17; Psalm 2; Psalm 42
Holy Spirit Series #1 - The Holy Spirit
Pastor Terry M. Ferrell   E-mail Terry
Greenville Church of God, 217 White Oak Road, Greenville, SC 29605
In today's message, we begin a new study to research and examine what the Bible really teaches about the
Holy Spirit. The Holy Spirit can be a confusing subject filled with a lot of misunderstandings and
misinformation.  What do the words "Holy Spirit" themselves mean?  How are the words used and
interpreted?  Can the Holy Spirit
of God also be God?  As we look closer, we find the Holy Spirit by which
God created is the same by which Mary conceived and by which God's word was given, recorded, confirmed,
and preserved.       Rom. 8:1-17; 2 Cor. 3:17,18; Heb. 2:3,4; 2 Peter 1; 2 Tim. 3:16;Acts 12; John 14; 16:13,14
I Thought You Would Call Me Father
Dr. Joe Martin, Atlanta Bible College   E-mail Joe
Did you know that the God we worship has a name?  In fact, in the Bible, His individual, personal name is
used almost 7000 times.  God tells us exactly who He is.  His unique name is important.  It's critical that we
know it.  But why did it go from a proper name to a generic "LORD" or "GOD" when the scriptures were
translated?  Why aren't we honoring the unchanged name of the Lord our God?  Why do we avoid it?
Traditions that are wrong are still wrong.  Let's start getting it right.
John 12:49,28; Exodus  3:6-15; 34:6; Jeremiah 3:19; Deuteronomy 28:7,47,58; Psalm 110:1; Revelation 1:4;
Acts 2:34;15:17; Mark 12:36; Psalm 8:1,9; 2 Chron. 7:14; John 20:17; Lev. 19:1; Ezek. 20; Isaiah 45; 19
Truth Matters Radio Broadcast:  The Shema
Host Sean Finnegan with Brian Kelly   E-mail Sean

Truth Matters Radio Broadcast:  Monotheism Makes Sense
Host Sean Finnegan with George Littler   E-mail Sean
In this week's un-aired program, listen in to hear a riveting story of how God in his love pursued George
Littler throughout his early tumultuous years, and how he was saved apart from believing complex doctrines
which made little sense to a street-smart New Yorker.
Revelation 14:6
Z.B. Duncan   11-25-1984
In Revelation, we learn about a "natural" Babylon and a "spiritual" Babylon.  With the spiritual, we see a
twisting of the everlasting gospel as it adapts false doctrines.  We begin to see how the truth of the one true
God has been corrupted.  Join Pastor Duncan on today's radio show as we search for the truth.

The Shema: The Creed of Jesus
Pastor Sean Finnegan    E-mail Sean
Living Hope Community Church   Latham, New York
Why do we have creeds?  What is the purpose of one?  What is "the Shema?"  Why not adopt the creed of
Jesus, the central creed of Israel, the Shema as your Deuteronomy 6:4-9; Mark 12:28-34
Truth Matters Radio Broadcast:  Is the Trinity Biblical?
Host Sean Finnegan with Patrick Navas   E-mail Sean
In today's show, Patrick explains the answers he's found after many long years of study as he researched
the biggest question of all–who is God?
