Faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the word of God.   Romans 10:17
The Risen Christ

Did Christ know he would die?  Was his sacrifice a prophesied part of God's plan?  What
does his predicted death and resurrection have to do with ours?

Luke 9:22; Acts 5:29-32; 2:22-32; 10:36-41; 1 Corinthians 15:1-8; 6:14; Romans 6:3-9;

Because He Died
Pastor Terry M. Ferrell   E-mail Terry
Greenville Church of God, 217 White Oak Road, Greenville, SC 29605
On Resurrection Sunday, we emphasize the blessings that come to us because Jesus lives,
but today, we look at the blessings that came because he died.  By one man, all of mankind
was sold into sin and bondage.  And death came by sin.  We all deserved to die, but Jesus
chose to die to purchase our freedom with his blood.
1 Corinthians 1:18-24
Resurrection

Christianity is often referred to as the religion of the empty tomb?  But why do we believe in
the resurrection from the dead?  Why is that important?  How does believing in the
resurrection from the dead change how you're living today?  Is there
enough evidence to believe?  Is it what the Bible teaches? Are you ready for those graves to
open when Jesus returns?
