In the Sermon on the Mount found in Matthew 5-7, Jesus gives us some practical advice on
how we should live our daily lives.  But what he said at the end of the message is most
important because he tells us where we should build our spiritual foundations.  On what
foundation is your faith built upon?

We preach that Jesus died and was raised from the dead.  Every year we celebrate his
resurrection.  But have you ever stopped and wondered what he's doing now.  Is he just
solemnly sitting on his hands and waiting for his return?  Or is he busy right now?  Where is
he anyway?  What's he doing now?  What's he all about?

In today's study, we're examining the first recorded parable in the ministry of Jesus, known as
"The Parable of the Sower" or the "The Parable of the Soils."  This is one of the few parables
that Jesus fully interprets its meaning.   What is the message that Jesus brought?  Have you
received His message in your life?  What will you do with it?  How will you grow it?
