Daniel Series #16:  The Seventy Weeks
Pastor Terry M. Ferrell   E-mail Terry
Greenville Church of God, 217 White Oak Road, Greenville, SC 29605
In this thorough study on the book of Daniel, we continue our look through the writing of the
prophet.  In today's message, we examine the prophecy of the seventy weeks.  Why is there
a gap?  Is the prophecy continuous history?  We're reminded that there is a time of
desolation that is coming.  We have to watch, and be ready, keeping our eyes on Israel.

One Came Running
Pastor Dick Eldred    E-mail Dick
Whether you know it or not, we're always living in constant fear.  In past times, health scares
have included the beubonic plague and polio.  Unlike today, in Bible times, if you had
leprosy, you went to the priest instead of the doctor for a diagnosis.  If you had leprosy, you
were unclean and isolated as a social outcast.  You couldn't come close to anyone, and no
one wanted to come close to you.  You were lonely and miserable, just waiting to die.  And
then one day Jesus came and changed everything for 10 leprous men.  No longer unclean!
Glory to God!  They all went off rejoicing. But only one returned.  But isn't it the same for us?
We've been cleansed from our sin by the same man.  But when was the last time you got on
your knees just to say, "thank you" for our healing and rejoiced for all that he has done?
