One Came Running

Whether you know it or not, we're always living in constant fear.  In past times, health scares
have included the beubonic plague and polio.  Unlike today, in Bible times, if you had
leprosy, you went to the priest instead of the doctor for a diagnosis.  If you had leprosy, you
were unclean and isolated as a social outcast.  You couldn't come close to anyone, and no
one wanted to come close to you.  You were lonely and miserable, just waiting to die.  And
then one day Jesus came and changed everything for 10 leprous men.  No longer unclean!  
Glory to God!  They all went off rejoicing. But only one returned. But isn't it the same for us?
 We've been cleansed from our sin by the same man.  But when was the last time you got on
your knees just to say, "thank you" for our healing and rejoiced for all that he has done?

A Storm is Coming

When a big storm is coming, we hear and see all kinds of weather alerts.  We're warned to
take cover, or get away.  The Bible has warned us too.  We can see the signs.  There's a big
storm coming to this world.  Are you ready?

What would you do in a disaster?  What's your plan?  What would you do just in case?  
After man's fall, God has provided his children with a "disaster relief plan."  He knew we
couldn't rescue ourselves, so he provided an escape.  And He has also given us warnings
of coming disaster.  The day is coming just as He has said.  Will you be prepared?
