Entering the Promised Land: "The Future is in the Past"
Wally Winner     E-mail Wally
Joy Fellowship Church of God of the Abrahamic Faith  Piedmont, South Carolina
Sometimes God uses parts of our past to serve us today and lead us into tomorrow. It was the case in
today's message in Joshua.  Before the Israelites headed on into the Promised Land, they paused to take
care of some priorities that we can learn from.  They stacked some stones.  They went back to the basics.
And they acknowledged God's presence leading their every step - even if there were battles ahead.

It's easy to gather on Sunday and speak big.  But do we mean it?  What are our real spiritual pursuits
during the week?  Ultimately, it's not what we say, it's what we do.  That's the bottom line in today's parable.

God?  Are there requirements?  In today's thorough look through the Scriptures, we examine these answers.
