Can You Prove What You Believe? - Part Three
Pastor Dave Hixon    E-mail Dave
Brush Creek Church of God   Tipp City, Ohio
The purpose and function of the scriptures is not just learning them but being convinced of what they teach.
We must be deeply convicted of what we believe.  We have to train in the truth, but that also means we
have to refute false teachings.  We have to be able to understand and defend what we believe.  But what
about you?  Is your faith just an opinion - or is it a conviction?

Identity Theft - Part Two - Our Father
Vince Finnegan
Living Hope Community Church   Latham, New York
God clearly states His name is YAHWEH and that He wants to be called by His name and worshipped as
such.  The Jews decided not to use the name YAHWEH so as not to violate the commandment not to take
His name in vain, but then, during translation His proper name and identity was completely left out of the text
and replaced with generic terms.  But Jesus knew the name of his Father and declared it to his disciples.
He introduces YAHWEH to us in a different way and told us to address Him in a different way - Our Father.
Exodus 3:13-18; John 17:26; Hebrews 2:12; Matthew 4:7,10; 22:37,44; Deuteronomy 6:4,5,13,16; 10:12,20;
Matthew 5:16,44-48; 6:1-9, 14,15, 25-34; 7:7-11; 1 Corinthians 8:6; Ephesians 1:1-3
The Architect and the Builder
Pastor Mike Montgomery  Email Mike
Guthrie Grove Church of God of the Abrahamic Faith   Pelzer, SC
What if the architect of a building had one plan and the builder followed another?  It could be a disaster,
right?  In our life's plan, God is the architect.  He has a plan and a purpose for our lives.  He loves us the
most, He wants the best for us, and He's in control.  It's not simply enough to know God's will.  We have to
follow it.  And when we build our lives around God's plans, we find God's will for our lives.
