The Lord's Prayer
Glenn Hoey   Church of God, Faith of Abraham   Cashmere, Washington
"The Lord's Prayer" is recited around the world.  It's committed to our
memories.  It's a part of normal Christian services.  But do we really think
about and consider the words?  Or are we just repeating words?  In
today's message, we take a closer examination of what the Bible teaches
us about the words of this prayer and how Jesus teaches us to pray.
Matthew 6:5-13

God had promised the children of Israel that they would receive the land
He was giving them.  And finally, after wandering and after the death of
Moses, they were about to.  God was calling a new leader, Joshua, to
direct the people with courage.  God has called you to be the leader He
wants you to be too.  Sometimes the easiest thing to do is turn back.  But
then you'll never see the Promised Land.  Now is the time to choose to
leave the desert behind.  What are you afraid of?

We all know what it's like to be lost or to lose something.  We put all of our
energy into finding our way or in finding what we're looking for.  But how
quickly we forget after the frantic search is over.  Fortunately, God never
stops searching.  He's not content just to have the 99 in the fold.  He's still
searching for that one lost sheep.  And that's the heartbeat of our mission.

Making Prayer a Priority
Lee Henderson    E-mail Lee
Joy Fellowship Church of God of the Abrahamic Faith  Piedmont, SC
When do we pray? Do we pray regularly? Or is it only when we need
something?  Is it only as our last resort?  Or is it the first thing we do
before we do anything?  In today's message, Lee focuses on the life and
decisions of Nehemiah and what examples we can learn from his prayers.

Jesus - Our High Priest
Pastor James Ritch
Resurrection Hope Church of God of the Abrahamic Faith
Lenoir, North Carolina
Have you ever heard of Melchizedek?  Who was he?  Why does he
matter?  What does he have to do with Christ?  Although we have no
record of his lineage, we have an account of his role.  And Jesus, our
High Priest, now mediates on our behalf through his own blood.  But
what about Melchizedek?

Pastor Rex Cain    E-mail Rex

In today's Bible study, we examine a phrase commonly used to prove the
state of a man when he dies.  But what does the text really prove?  Does
man live as a disembodied spirit in an immaterial state in heaven after
his death?  When and where do we receive eternal life?  As we consider
the total text of Paul's writings, the answers may surprise you.

His Name
Pastor Mike Montgomery  Email Mike
Guthrie Grove Church of God of the Abrahamic Faith   Pelzer, SC
The religious authority of the day didn't understand him.  In fact, they
condemned him to death.  Never did they expect that one of his accused
followers would soon be accusing them - but also offering them
salvation.  As Peter stood before the court, he spoke with boldness when
he answered their question: "By what name did you heal the man?"
What's your answer?

A broadcast ministry of Kingdom Ministries, Inc (Litchfield, Minnesota).
Kingdom Ministries is a completely faith-based ministry created to
simply and clearly proclaim the message of the Kingdom of God and
to share God's love in a practical way.  In today's message, we look at
the message Jesus the Messiah and his disciples preached and
taught.  Many believed, repented and were baptized when they heard:
The Simple Message
Galatians 3:27-29; Hebrews 11; Matthew 16:13; 13:11; 18:13;
Acts 8:12; 28:23,30,31
Jesus - God's Final Word
Pastor Michael Brown    E-mail Michael
Glad Tidings Church of God  Fonthill, Ontario, Canada
We put great emphasis on the importance of the scriptures, but they
are not to be treated superficially or superstitiously.  Sometimes, we
read the Bible but miss the message.  The written word points to
God's living word.  And as we focus on Jesus, we make the Bible
more valuable and meaningful in our lives.
Hebrews 1:1-3
Psalm Series #2 - What is Man?
Pastor Terry M. Ferrell   E-mail Terry
Greenville Church of God, 217 White Oak Road, Greenville, SC 29605
What is man?  We can't really understand or appreciate the importance
of the sacrifice of Christ, the coming of Christ, or the resurrection
unless we have a proper understanding of the nature of man.  We are
all mortal, death-destined creatures.  But we have been redeemed to
escape the second death by Jesus.
Psalm 8
The Three Appearances of Christ
Pastor Hollis Partlowe
Dixon Church of God, Dixon, Illinois
Israel worshipped in types that pointed to some aspect and to the work
of Christ.  But we worship in reality today.  Jesus came once to die, but
is coming the next time to end death.  Today, he pleads our case as an
advocate for us in heaven.  And in each of his three appearances, we
see the three phases of our salvation.

The Stone and the Mountain
Tony Dart   Church of God, Faith of Abraham   Cashmere, Washington
When we talk about the Kingdom of God, we really don't see a much
simpler explanation of who establishes it, and its longevity, than what
we see in today's text.  But as we look deeper into the scripture, we
discover the full meaning behind the "stone" and the "mountain."

The Kingdom Bailout Plan
Steve Taylor   E-mail Steve
Lakeshore Bible Church  Tempe, Arizona   Check out Steve's blog
Most Americans are pretty sick and tired of hearing about "bailouts."
We're all painfully aware of the billions and billions of taxpayer dollars
"loaned" to businesses and banks that are "too big to fail."  And it's all
for own good, right?  Well, the Kingdom of God doesn't need a bailout
or a government to save it.  But we are in dire need of one from the
government to which we really belong - the Kingdom of God.  There will
come a time when every account must be settled, when every servant
must repay their Master.  And we all come up way too short.  We can't
pay our way out.  But the debt we owe has been forgiven.  We need to
share that good news.  And as forgiven people, we are to be forgiving
people.
