Successful Christianity
S.O. Ross
How can you tell if you're having a successful Christian experience?
How can we measure its success?  What do we consider a successful
Christian life?  In today's message, we learn a good formula to follow
and to use to measure the S-U-C-C-E-S-S  of Christianity in our lives.

The Bible Truth Radio Broadcast: "The Rich Man and Lazarus"
Z.B. Duncan
Does man have a conscious, separate existence outside of this world
after death?  Many think so, and they point to the verses in this parable to
prove it.  But is the evidence really there?  And if we take this parable as
literally true, what else do we have to believe?  In today's study, Pastor
Duncan looks deeper into the misconceptions, additions, and insertions
that have been added into the story Jesus told.

God's Tomorrow
E. Richard Smith
As we remember the things of the past, we look forward to the things of
the future.  Many things today are different, but we know God is the same.
And although much in this world is still beautiful and improving, we see
a world that  is beginning to disintegrate around us.  But we can't be
overwhelmed by the darkness.  We must recognize that God will bring
about His purposes.  And in a world that's getting darker, it's up to us to
shine the light.  We must live today in preparation for tomorrow.  And we
live each day with hope because we know that Jesus is coming again!

What does it take to be a true hero in God's sight?  As we honor and
remember men  of extraordinary courage today, we learn what it takes to
be men of extraordinary faith.

Freedom Rings
Andrew Weaver
We have the liberty to come and worship because of great men who
fought to give us that freedom.  But with freedom can come the abuse of
freedom.  When it becomes all about "me" is when we begin to lose our
freedoms.  The founding fathers of a struggling nation pledged their
lives and their fortunes to be free.  Christ gave his life so we can truly be
free.  Will you pledge your life for his cause?
Galatians 5:13-26
Our Heritage
S.O. Ross
base our distinctive beliefs on the word of God and the promises He
made to Abraham.  We also have a great heritage passed down to us
through our nation - the only nation founded and established on
religious freedom.  As we remember the great heritage passed down to
us, we are called to return to those foundational principles.  And as we
remember the heritage of the past, we look forward to our great hope in
the future.

The Word of God and Its Effects
Pastor Terry M. Ferrell   E-mail Terry
Greenville Church of God, 217 White Oak Road, Greenville, SC 29605
When the Word of God is believed and applied, it is full of power.  And we
are begotten as Christians through the word of truth.  But in able to be
"doers of the Word," we have to know the Word.

Moses Between Two Worlds
Pastor Alan Cain    E-mail Alan
Lawrenceville Church of God  4444 St. Paris Pike, Springfield, OH 45504
Moses was a man living between two worlds.  But he had to make a
decision.  Who was he going to be?  He could have lived in the luxury of
the Pharaoh's palace with everything he ever wanted.  Instead, he chose
the treasures of God over the treasures of Egypt.
Hebrews 11:23-29; Acts 7; Exodus 3; 4:10-14, 24-26; Proverbs 14:12
The Voice of Tomorrow Broadcast with Pastor Dale Swartz    E-mail Dale
Kingdom Ministries is a completely faith-based ministry created to
share God's love in a practical way.  In today's message, we examine
how God created the world with Jesus in mind.  And when the time was
just right, and the world was ready, God sent His son.  And his son
showed us:

The Promise of Answered Prayer
Pastor Chuck Jones  E-mail Chuck    Visit Chuck's blog
Church of the Open Bible Pomona, California
Jesus promised that we'd get what we ask for in prayer.  Do you believe
it?  Okay, if you believe it, then why don't you act on it?  Okay, if you act
on it, have you found it to be true?  If it's not true for you, then there's
probably a problem.  And if there's a problem with unanswered prayers,
it isn't God who's the problem.  God's promises are sure.  Maybe it's
time to ask yourself if you're just serving yourself, or are you serving
God's way?

Invitations and Warnings
Pastor James Ritch
Resurrection Hope Church of God of the Abrahamic Faith   Lenoir, North
Carolina
When God speaks to us, it's time to listen.  We're seeing what God's
seeing.  Things are getting worse and worse in this world we live in.  Evil
is spreading across the earth.  We have been warned hard times are
coming.  Like Noah, we have been invited to carry out God's plan in this
age.  When the door shuts, it's too late.  Jesus is coming back.  Are we
telling our friends with urgency?  Who do you know that needs to be told?
Genesis 6:6-7:12

Pastor Darrell Cardwell    E-mail Darrell

If you had a friend in need, would you help him?  Is there anything you
would not do for one of your closest friends?  Today, Pastor Darrell

their closest friends.

Surrender, Part Two
Pastor Dave Hixon    E-mail Dave
Brush Creek Church of God   Tipp City, Ohio
What's the key to successful Christianity?  Is it a one-time decision?  Or
is it a day-to-day challenge?  Today, we look at the perfect example of
God's own son.  He was sinless for 33 1/2 years, seeking only the will
of God and fully submitting himself into God's hands.  So what's the key
for a successful Christian?  Find out in this message.

Finding Truth Without Knowing Hebrew or Greek
Pastor Dennis Baldwin   Contact Dennis
Grace Fellowship Church of God   Front Royal, Virginia
(Excerpt from 2009 Theological Conference)
Just what is death anyway?  What is a "soul?"  Can it die?  Do people
who die know anything after their death?  Did Jesus live before he was
born?  Did Jesus really die?  Just what is the Holy Spirit?  Does it matter
what I believe?  Is Jesus coming back to the earth?  And if he is, why
and when?  Why does there need to be a resurrection of the dead?  Find
out the answers to these questions as we journey with Dennis through
his life's search for the truth.

The Truth Matters radio show on WHAZ (97.3 FM and 1330 AM) airs
each Sunday morning at 9 a.m. and can be heard in the Capital District
of New York State.  Each week covers a different topic with a different

focus on the resurrection of Jesus and the coming resurrection of the
people of God as Dr. Martin explains the Old Testament underpinnings
of the idea of resurrection.
