Unfulfilled Prophecies - Part Two
Pastor Dave Hixon    E-mail Dave
Brush Creek Church of God   Tipp City, Ohio
What if this generation lives through to see the Kingdom of God?  What if
we're the ones?  How do we know we're getting near the return of Christ?
In today's message, we continue our study into end-time events that could
not have happened at any other time in history.  And as we look at the
prophecies, we realize we're closer now than we've ever been.  And
knowing all this, it's up to us to be ready, to be prepared, and to remain
faithful.

The Holy Spirit
Pastor Kenneth Milne
What is the Holy Spirit?  What does the Bible really have to say?  Is it a
person?  Is it a power?  It's a doctrine that fills the entire Bible, and yet, as
important as the subject is, for many years, the topic has been avoided.  In
today's study, we take a thorough biblical approach to the importance of the
work of the Holy Spirit in our service to God and in our personal lives.

Is it sitting somewhere on your shelf covered in dust?  When was the last
time you picked up the world's number one best seller of all-time - the
Bible?  If you haven't read it lately, maybe should take a look.  It's God's
word.  It's our guide.

World Missions
Pastor Michael Cisler    E-mail Mike
North Kent Bible Church   Rockford, Michigan
How can we be a part of purposeful outreach?  How can what we do impact
others here and worldwide?  As we examine some of the statistics, we see
a world full of need around us.  We're tremendously blessed.  And God
places great importance on helping those in need both physically and
spiritually.  And God wants US to have the heart and desire to fill them.

Zealous for God's House
Pastor Jeff Fletcher  E-mail Jeff
Bethel Church of God of the Abrahamic Faith, Pelzer, South Carolina
What are you passionate about?  What are you zealous in life for?  Are you
passionate for God? Jesus? His church?  God wants to be first in your
heart. And God your life to be consumed with Him with a spiritual fire.  How
much time and energy are you willing to put into your worship, your prayer,
and your work for the Lord?

The Truth Matters radio show on WHAZ (97.3 FM and 1330 AM) airs each
Sunday morning at 9 a.m. and can be heard in the Capital District of New
York State.  Each week covers a different topic with a different guest as Sean
fearlessly explores Bible truth.
In today's program, John demonstrates from the Scriptures that the dead
are in Sheol (also called Hades) where they are unconscious (”asleep”)
until Jesus comes to resurrect.
A Real Bargain   1952
J.R. LeCrone
Everyone wants a bargain.  No one wants to pay full price.  We all
want a good deal.  And God has given us the perfect deal, and His
Son has paid the ultimate price for us.  We're given the opportunity to
obtain everlasting life.  And God always keeps his promises.  He
offers us the very best.  But the Lord refuses to bargain when it
comes to His requirements.  What cost are you willing to pay?  Are
you waiting for God to make a better offer?

Prisoners of Ignorance    8/15/1973
Dennis Baldwin
If it were not for the correct and precise understanding of facts, how far
would we be today?  People throughout the ages have died from wrong
information.  In religious matters, it is no different.  The truth is a
requirement and a necessity.  And it's up to us to present our neighbors the
truth that will save them from their eternal consequence.  What are we doing
to break the world from the bars and shackles of their prison of ignorance?

The Purpose of Christian Education    8/15/1974
John Lewis
We're surrounded by an ever-increasing world of knowledge.  But is the
wisdom of the world enough to save it from itself?  We look around and see
a world that's falling apart.  What do we do?  It's up to us to develop the gifts
and abilities God has given us so that we can approach life and the world
fully equipped.  It's no time to be lukewarm.  The world is in crisis.  They
need to find the meaning that can only be found in Christ.  And it's up to us
to tell them the good news.

The Open Bible Pulpit: 7 Statements from the Cross: Promise of
Paradise
Pastor Chuck Jones  E-mail Chuck    Visit Chuck's blog
Church of the Open Bible Pomona, California
Attaching ourselves to what appears to be a losing team isn't the
popular way to go. (Ask any Detroit Lions fan). Sometimes we find our
commitment wavering when things get difficult.  But one thief chose to
be on Jesus' side, even though it looked bleak for his cause.
Luke 23:39-43
The Voice of Tomorrow Broadcast with Pastor Dale Swartz
A broadcast ministry of Kingdom Ministries, Inc (Litchfield,
Minnesota).  Kingdom Ministries is a completely faith-based ministry
created to simply and clearly proclaim the message of the Kingdom
of God and to share God's love in a practical way.  In today's
message from Genesis 12, God calls Abram to leave his family and
his homeland to follow Him in faith.  He chose to leave everything
behind to go where God would lead him.  Like Abram, God has great
plans for everyone who will follow and trust Him.  But are you willing
to leave something behind when God calls on you?

Missional Living: A Place to Start
Pastor Seth Ross    E-mail Seth
North Hills Church of God  Springfield, Ohio
We all want to be known by someone and for something.
Sometimes, though, there's a gap between what we want to be
known for and what we are known for.  Churches are the same way.
And what people think of Jesus may very well be whatever their
opinion is of us.  The local church is where we should be able to be
who we really are.  And when we find our churches becoming an
authenticate community of believers, we'll find our community
becoming a part of our churches.

Daniel Series #13:  Weighed and Found Wanting
Pastor Terry M. Ferrell   E-mail Terry
Greenville Church of God, 217 White Oak Road, Greenville, SC 29605
In this thorough study on the book of Daniel, we look at the writing of
the prophet and the "writing on the wall."  In today's message, we
examine the actions from another foolish ruler.  In Belshazzar's
celebration, he dishonored the vessels from the Jewish temple.  And
he omitted the honor of their God.  Likewise, our time is limited, and
our actions are weighed against a just balance.  Will you give the
honor and glory to God?

The Better Blood
Pastor Rex Cain    E-mail Rex
Church of the Open Bible  Bedford, Ohio
Everything is more valuable when it is washed and cleaned.  In the
same way, we were all stained with sin until God provided the most
powerful cleansing agent - the blood of His son - to find our
forgiveness and, ultimately, our victory.  Jesus paid the ultimate
sacrifice.  It was a better sacrifice.  And we honor him with our faith
and our service.

The Hope of Resurrection
Minister Paul Rankin    E-mail Paul
Church of God, Faith of Abraham   Cashmere, Washington
What happens when we die?  When does it happen?  Is man innately
immortal?  What difference does it make?  We have been given a
promise of deliverance and an inheritance in the coming kingdom.
We have a great hope.  What difference does it make in your life?
